Harris County Returns to Level 4 (Normal Readiness)

The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) is returning to Level 4 (Normal Readiness) at 4:30 pm. Normal Readiness means that no hazardous conditions are imminent. HCOHSEM staff will continue to monitor bayou and street conditions throughout the evening.

HCOHSEM increased its readiness level at 10:30 and activated the Emergency Operations Center to monitor the severe thunderstorms moving through Harris County. Those storms have now moved offshore and into the Gulf of Mexico.
