| Harris County Returns to Level 4 (Normal Readiness) |
|
The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) is returning to Level 4 (Normal Readiness) at 4:30 pm. Normal Readiness means that no hazardous conditions are imminent. HCOHSEM staff will continue to monitor bayou and street conditions throughout the evening. HCOHSEM increased its readiness level at 10:30 and activated the Emergency Operations Center to monitor the severe thunderstorms moving through Harris County. Those storms have now moved offshore and into the Gulf of Mexico. Hazardous conditions still exist on many area roadways.
